The Director of the Tamil Nadu State Government Directorate of School Education has come out with a categorical announcement that the rare absolutely no examinations scheduled for the students of the 9th, 10th, & 11th Standards!
There was a considerable delay in the reopening of schools mainly due to the raging coronavirus pandemic. As per this, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, E.Palaniswamy, announced that all the students of the 9th, 10th, & 11th Standards are deemed as PASSED without writing any examinations.
In this situation, the Primary Education Officer of Thanjavur District sent a circular to all the school headmasters of the district that the annual examinations will be conducted for the 9th, 10th, & 11th Students and marks will be given and that the practical examinations were also to be conducted before 15th April!
Subsequently, the Director of the Tamil Nadu State Government Directorate of School Education, Kannappan, has officially and categorically announced that THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO EXAMINATIONS TO BE CONDUCTED FOR THE 9TH, 10TH, &11TH STANDARD STUDENTS! He had further ordered the District Primary Education Officer of the above circular to withdraw the same.
The Tamil Nadu State Government Department of School Education has announced that NO EXAMINATIONS WILL BE CONDUCTED FOR THE STUDENTS AS A PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF THE RESURGING CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC.
